Maris Kestrel is a cost effective and reliable source of highly digestible winter feed for all livestock, it is highly palatable, frost and cold weather tolerant and has a high leaf to stem ratio meaning it is very suitable for grazing. This Kale is suitabale for both Sheep and Cattle gazing. It is a short to medium height variety.

Kale
Kale is the highest yielding brassica and being winter hardy, can relieve pressure on winter forage. It has a high protein content and is usually grazed between September and March, depending on sowing time. It can be grazed by most livestock including sheep and cattle.
