Autumn Hawkbit is a nectar rich plant providing a much needed source of food whichis popular with bees, butterflies and insects. This wildflower is in flower from July-October and is able to tolerate traffic and cutting and is a competitive speciessurviving in longer and coarse grass. When Autumn Hawkbit is fully expanded it smells strongly and sweetly of honey. Autumn Hawkbit is also commonly known as lion’s toothbecause of the jagged leaves.
