Musk Mallow (Malva moschata) wildflower

This erect perennial has clusters of flowers of a subtle pink colour flowering from August to September with green silky leaves raching up to 120 cm in height. You would most commonly see this wildflower on coastal areas however this is declining. The musky scent of the flower and leaves is enhanced when they are bought indoors.

This is a green coloured, bushy, upright perennial that once established can be a robust plant, that is prolific on fertile soils rich in nitrogen. This species can grow to 75 cm in height.
