As part of a wider project with the Royal Agricultural University, we are conducting research looking into the aims, establishment, management, termination and the root architecture of herb and legume rich leys.

In particular we are looking to gather views on farmer/grower experiences of establishing these mixes, what species work well in what situations, what the establishment needs of these mixes are and how management can impact the success or failure of a ley.
