We are delighted to see customers of Cotswold Seeds included in over half of the categories of finalists for this year’s British Farming Awards.
Tim Parton, from Brewood Park Farm in Staffordshire, is interested in cover crops and healthy soils, and was a FCCT soil farmer of the year in 2017, an award we’ve sponsored for many years. Tim is now shortlisted for Arable Innovator of the year, while Paul Griffin, from Briddlesford Farm Dairy on the Isle of Wight, is a finalist for Dairy Innovator of the Year. Richard Heady, mixed farmer from Milton Keynes, is in the running for the title of Digital Innovator and Neil Dallyn, from Waltham Park Farm, for the Contractor Innovator award. Norfolk farmer Jason Bothwick and family farmers Barbara, Sam and Joe Smith, from Slapton Manor Farm, Northamptonshire, are finalists for the Diversification Innovator titles, while Henry Robinson, from R.P Worth and Son in Lincolnshire, is on the shortlist for Farm Worker of the Year.
Congratulations to them all for being shortlisted, and we wish them luck when the final results are announced at the awards ceremony on 17th October, at the National Conference Centre, Birmingham. #BFA19.
