A cluster of delicate white buds form an umbrella shape over a fine stem. Wild carrot grows up to 100 cm in height and flowers from June through to August. The leaves and roots have a scent of carrot however they are not edible.Wild carrot is a member of the ‘Apiaceae’ family alongside herbs like coriander, cumin, and parsley, as well as other root vegetables like parsnips and celery. Some other names for Wild Carrot include bishop's lace, queen Annes lace and bird's nest.
