Meadowsweet (Filipendula ulmaria) wildflower

Clusters of small white flowers create a cloud looking illusion, this upright perennial is able to reach up to 120 cm in height and flowers from June to September. Meadowsweet was said to be Queen Elizabeth I’s favourite scent and means ‘queen of the meadow’ in several languages.
