Dwarf / Turf Perennial Ryegrass (Lolium perenne)

Dwarf ryegrass is a specifically bred strain of perennial ryegrass, selected for its shorter growth habit and its ability to produce more tillers and subsequently a thicker sward than standard ryegrasses.  Dwarf ryegrass is primarily used in lawn and amenity mixtures where short growing species are preferable.
