Pochon Dairy Diary

Sam Clarke’s Pochon Dairy mix, a medium term, dual purpose, high clover cutting and grazing ley, used for high quality silage and sheep and cattle grazing. It was sown in August 2019 into a prepared seedbed, with a combination drill. The mix was shallow sown because of the high clover content, just dropped on the surface with the drill coulters out of the ground. After sowing it was rolled twice for maximum seed to soil contact.
