Env. Stewardship Mixtures - Seed Mixes Have Different Speeds of Establishment
When walking autumn sown Env. Stewardship plots in the spring, keep in mind different species will establish at different rates
The difference in speed of establishment of stewardship mixes. BOTTOM is AB8 Fine grasses & Wild Flowers (slowest growing grasses, which can take up to a year to establish) TOP is Buffer Strip Mix including Cocksfoot & Timothy, much quicker out of the ground. So don't worry if yours looks slow too; reassess in the spring.
