Spring drilling has started at @RealFarmED

⁠They said “We’ve been waiting for the ground to dry up, after all the rain… we’re lucky that our arable fields are a light ‘Cotswold brash’ so dry quickly. Ian has been cultivating the seed bed & started drilling on Monday...before more rain! ⁠ ⁠ The field is being planted with a herbal ley seed mix, made up of 17 plant species. On the farm we are currently part of Countryside Stewardship meaning we get a subsidy from the government for planting this #biodiversemixture.
