Seed
Rounded brown seeds measuring about 4-5mm across and from top to bottom. The seeds have a citrus like flavour and smaell if crushed.

Vegetative State
Lobed leaves at the base of the plant go on to produce feathery leaves on the flowering stems.

Flowering Plant
The flowers are small umbels which are mainly white in colour but can be a very pale pink.

Native to the mediterranean basin, but now grown very widely, normslly for cooking and flavouring.
