Last month Cotswold Seeds lead a herbal ley course at FarmED, for those interested in exploring complex seed mixture of grasses, legumes and herbs for livestock health, soil fertility and forage.

This one day course proved so popular we've scheduled another for July 13th, which is also booking up fast, but there are a few places left.

At the end of the course you will be able to discuss the benefits of herbal leys in terms of soil, environment and animal health, resource conservation, and biodiversity enhancement. You'll also be able to understand considerations for planning a herbal ley system that is appropriate for your farming operation and how to manage it, from establishment to grazing and termination.

About FarmED:

FarmED is the new Centre for Farming and Food Education based at Honeydale Farm in the Cotswolds. Our mission is to accelerate the transition towards regenerative farming and sustainable food systems by providing space and opportunity for inspirational education, innovative research, practitioner-led knowledge exchange events and personal development.
