We are involved in the STAR research project looking at restoring soil quality through the reintegration of leys and sheep into arable rotation.  At the recent open day at NIAB, lots of farmers came to find out about different tillage options and to discuss the use of 4-year herbal ley for deep soil health and structural improvement.
