Our new catalogue went out last week and we’ve had a couple of queries about why we price our mixtures in kg per acre. By law, we are obliged to sell in metric, but the vast majority of our customers still refer to sowing in acres. We therefore use the combination of imperial and metric measurements in order to satisfy legal requirements as well as the needs of the bulk of the farmers who buy seed from us.

 However, our website does offer options to order simply in kg or hectares, so we aim to cater to all preferences that way.
