End of August Update

Posted: 31st August 2018

As August makes way for September, the freshly planted grass by our new entrance is looking lush and green, thanks to the recent rain.

The sunflowers in the wild bird seed mix (the final year 8 of our crop rotation) are looking stunning and we’ve also been preparing seed beds for our fertility building ley (year 1) and rye and vetch (year 7). Depending on the weather, we are hoping to sow this weekend, or next week.

About Us

It's always been part of our vision to have a farm as an extension of the Cotswold Seeds business and in 2013 we bought Honeydale Farm, one hundred acres in the Cotswolds. During the past couple of years we've been making huge progress on the farm and this blog was set up to share this progress with our friends in the farming world.
